Rebecca Soler and Dan Bittner have a long list of fans of their own so when the two joined hands for the narration of this book it was surely going to be famous. First of all the book is written fabulously by Marissa Meyers and secondly, the narrators have given some extra spice through their voices. The author has added almost everything in this book just like she did in Winter and Cress.
All the ingredients are there and they have been put in a larger quantity for the sake of fun. Whether a person is thinking of listening about betrayal or other things like action and suspense, this book has it all at every stage. It is like one fully loaded piece of art that will keep you alert. The Renegades came to the land many years ago and they came for the purpose of establishing peace.
They established peace within no time and they think that they have provided a very big service to the land. It is because of them that the entire corrupt society has come to an end but there are those who think that the Renegades have snatched everything from them and they are a group of rogues. Among those few, there is Nova who wants to take revenge on the Renegades because they have taken everything from her.
Along the way, she meets Adrian who happens to be a Renegade but he is different from the rest because he thinks that Nova is doing the right thing. Together the two starts marching forward with one goal in mind but Nova is a bit afraid because Adrian is from the other side and he has the power to kill her within no time so trusting a villain could be dangerous.
