Head Hunter is the third chapter of City Shifters: The Pack. This paranormal romance fantasy book is written by Layla Nash. She is an amazing writer of paranormal romance novels and City Shifters: the Pride is her best series. This series can be accessed in audio at City Shifters: The Pride Complete Series. Among her other top novels, you will find Breaking Free as one of them, The audio narration of the Head Hunter novel is done by Beth Roeg. The narration of the novel went pretty solid and without any issues.
When Persephone Lawson, an architect interviewed for a job with the highly mysterious Evershaw family, she expected a few tough questions to come. She also expected to be given one or two odd requests as well. She was completely unprepared to confront the half-wolf, half-man monster along with his best friend who was the toughest and hottest man that she had ever met. It was too bad that the normal, nice life of Percy had absolutely no room at all for the shapeshifter shenanigans.
Dodge upheld the law of the alpha in his pack and spent the rest of his time just getting by. That was believed to be quite good enough until he was given the task to retrieve the sassy, beautiful Persephone before she could endanger the entire pack. She turned his entire world upside down with just a single look and then made a simple job out of it. When she bolted for freedom then Dodge was quite determined to just hunt her down and ensure her safety in every way.
This novel is from a lovely series but this particular chapter is not amongst the strongest ones of the series. You will find it quite different from the others. It is said mainly because of its slow pacing and a few plot holes.
