The King of Faerie is the fourth chapter in the Stariel novel series. The book is written by AJ Lancaster. She is from New Zealand and known for writing whimsical fantasy, romance, supernatural, and mystery novels. If you take a look at the books written by her then The Prince of Secrets will come out as one of her best. Other than this, The Lord of Stariel is another good one by Lancaster.
Fiona Hardingham did the narration of The King of Faerie novel. The narrator is mostly good with her performance in other novels but her voice this time sounded clipped and slow-paced. This was not a good performance at all. The fae was real and Hetta was trying quite hard to marry one of them.
If Wyn and Hetta ever had to marry then that will be a union between Mortaland Faerie since the time, Iron Law was revoked. The mortal Queen provided them with all of her blessings or probably sort of. Wyn then needed to take the permission coming from the fae High King.
There was an extremely personal reason why they needed to marry as soon as possible. On the other side, the time was not in their favor and the clock was ticking fast. The only exception was the home court of Wyn which was trapped right underneath the magical stasis. Breaking the spell would mean venturing into the deepest puts of Faerie. That will be a place where the fae princes and even the human lords fear to step. This is a great book that will keep you entertained throughout. It comes with a lot of twists, turns, and surprises. The narration was below average though.
