An Unwelcome Quest is the third chapter of Magic 2.0. This is a humorous fiction novel with some good adventures to go with as well. The book is written by Scott Meyer. He is an American author and comedian. Among his most prominent literary works, you will find Fight and Flight as one of them. Moreover, Off to Be the Wizard is another significant book that the author has written.
There is hardly any audiobook that could go wrong if it is narrated by Lue Daniels. He did an awesome job once again with this An Unwelcome Guest book and made it soon way too good.
Ever since the time Martin Banks along with his fellow computer geeks found that reality was only a kind of computer program to be hacked happily then they were jaunting through time back and forth. They posed as the medieval wizards along with having the medieval adventures that the other news could only dream about having. But in their wildest fantasies even, they never expected at all to end up there at the mercy of the ex-apprentice whom they locked in prison for serious misuse of magic and their general evil behavior all-around.
The vengeful Todd escaped and he conjured a new video game with wenches, wolves, and wastelands. He is also trapped within his former hapless former friends who were inside it. The would-be wizards were all stripped of their magical powers and they must look to brave technical glitches, terrifying dangers, and the company of one another, only if they are interested to see Medieval England.
An Unwelcome Guest took on quite a serious premise but kept it light throughout. You will have a wonderful time with this book and it shouldn’t be missed. The storytelling by Scott Meyer was great as well and the novel itself is packed with some likable and thoughtful characters.
