Jess Walter and Edoardo Ballerini have created this book in a combined way. The two have really put an effort in this one because they have painted the exact picture of the era along with the characterization which is exact. Edoardo has also narrated the book because he had the perfect accent for this show. It is the story of an American who came to Rome in order to study Latin so that he could understand the art of that time. After a while, Rigel thinks that he is gaining absolutely nothing from the entire program and he should return back and start working on something else. The young man wanted to join the field of art but the chances were quite little.
While he was planning his return, he got the chance to meet Angelina who used to be a famous actress in Rome. She was called the Angel of Rome in her prime days and now her career was on the verge of chaos. She was in need of someone who could revive her career and she thought that Rigel was the exact sort of guy.
The young man was also looking for someone who could boast about his career in the initial stages and the connection with the old legend could serve his purpose as well. The Other Woman and How to Write a Mystery type of books will look more like this but it is not correct.
This book has a style and purpose of its own which has no parallel in literature till the present day. Culture, history, love, and sensation, everything is present in the book so all you have to do is to sit back and enjoy.
