The Huntress Audiobook
Kate Quinn just captures the heart of the listeners in a single sentence. The author has so much mastery and skill in writing thrillers that she makes us mesmerized by the scenes which she creates with the help of words. Saskia Maarleveld has narrated those awesome words for this novel. It is about the era when the Nazis were bringing havoc to the entire world. The Soviet Union formed a group of female night bombers name Night Witches against the Nazis.
The women of this squad were accurate in their aims all the time. Nina wanted to fly high in the sky since her childhood and when she got the opportunity to become a part of this group, she was completely delighted. One night Nina’s plane crashed behind the enemy lines and she was stranded on the land where the Huntress was after her.
The Huntress was a deadly killer who had eradicated many soldiers for the Nazis and now Nina was her target. Somehow Nina was able to escape the deadly attacks of the Huntress. Ian Graham who happens to be British hears about this and he comes to Nina because she is the only one who can recognize the Huntress.
Ian has a score to settle with the Huntress and he is with the information that the killer has blended herself into society now. In Boston, a teenager finds out that his father has married for the second time and this time it is a German woman. The boy thinks that his stepmother acts in an odd way so he starts investigating her and the dark past of the lady gets revealed to him. The Diamond Eye and The Rose Code are also loaded with dangerous missions of this kind. The author has written a lot about the World War and the era when the Nazis were everywhere.
