The Mountain Man Omnibus

This is not a single story rather it is a box set of three books and all of these three books have been narrated by R.C. Bray. This is the story of a man who has lost love and hope in life as there is no one else whom he can share his feelings with. He is the lone survivor and the rest of humanity perished many years ago.

Since then he lives in his house on the mountain and fights the undead every day to keep himself alive and also to gather food supplies which are always ending. He drinks a lot in order to forget what he has seen in the past and what he witnesses during the day for the past many years.

Keith C. Blackmore does not give hope to the Mountain Man rather the author adds more terror to the story by telling us that now the undead is being hunted. When Gus or the Mountain Man finds the dead bodies of the undead on the streets, he realizes that something is seriously wrong.

There is something behind the mountains that is preparing to come up sooner or later and Gus is the only man who is standing in the way. The survival instincts of the main character remind us of Breeds, Book 1 and Breeds 2 because Gus is also facing the same kind of terrible situation here. There was a time when he wanted to get out of it but now he has become used to this scenario and is willing to live till he can against these savages who don’t die.
