It just takes one bullet to take the life of a person and those who are left behind are never the same afterward. Such sorrowful moments take the happiness away from an individual and he cannot believe that such an incident really happened to him or her. Fiona Bristow used to have a very good life with her husband who was a cop and she happens to be a dog trainer.
The two used to love dogs that’s why they had a wonderful K9 with them all the time. Then a killer in a rage attacked them and killed the dog and Fiona’s husband at the same time. The killer wanted to kill her too but she was able to save herself. Now years later she is on Orcas Island and has started a dog training school which has helped her a lot in the healing process.
Though she has been busy with these dogs that are coming to her school all the time she has not found love. Then Simon Doyle comes to the school with his dog who needs serious training. Quickly Simon gets interested in the trainer as well and Fiona thinks that her life would finally on track. At this stage, the author Nora Roberts adds the villain once again in the story.
The killer is back because he wants to eradicate the woman who was lucky enough to save herself from his deadly fangs. Tanya Eby narrates Fiona as a strong character this time because she is ready to take on the killer who ruined her once and she is not going to allow him to do the same again. Identity and Year One can be added to the book list by those who like to go on with Nora Roberts’ works. These are love stories with a lot of action involved.
