Nick and Kate are two people from two different worlds. Their job, passion, and way of living are not the same at all. During these years of working together, the only thing which they have been able to find the same is their mutual attraction which has kept on increasing because of no reason at all.
Kate happens to be an FBI agent and she needed a partner for her help instead she was provided a con man who is charming and hot. The two have been able to pull up missions together that ordinary FBI agents were not able to handle and it is because of the connection that Nick has in the underworld. Janet Evanovich and Peter Evanovich have kept their attention on both characters which is a good thing.
The two come forward to solve the case of kidnapping as a billionaire with a high profile has been abducted. There are no clues and the two people linked to Big Kahuna are not interested in his return at all. One of them is the young wife of the billionaire who has other thoughts in mind now and the second one is his business partner who is more interested in taking over the business.
Scott Brick has narrated this madness in the novel quite emotionally to show us the real picture of the upper class. Unlike One for the Money the two characters, this time get the chance to be with one another. In order to investigate the case, Kate and Nick have to pretend like husband and wife who are on vacation which develops things to a further level between them. Two for the Dough possesses a nice climax and only this novel can be taken as equal to it in the climax.
