Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is there when someone is in trouble and she gets the job completed in time without any kind of damage. She never wanted to be someone who is feared by the world but at certain points, she has been forced to make the enemies fear her presence. She has a team to fight the bad guys and not all the members of the team can be considered heroes still they have been completing their tasks quite well.
High Five and Going Rogue showed the spirit of this squad at the time of action and this is the thing that matters in the end. The author Janet Evanovich has given serious missions to Stephanie and her friends which they have completed in the past and now they are ready for something new.
Lorelei King narrates another tale in which the dead bodies start appearing on the scene and once again the killer is not known. Everyone knows one thing i.e the killer wants to get rid of Stephanie Plum too. If she does not catch the criminal first then she can end up with the dead bodies too. Certainly, Plum does not want such kind of life and she is trying to work hard on the case but her family issues are rising for her too.
Her family wants her to finally decide between Ranger and cop Joe Morelli because she has been in relationships with both of them for a long time now. Her mother has another plan, she thinks that Plum should leave both of these men and select a new one for her future life.
