Wild Hunger is a paranormal romance novel. It is the seventh chapter of The Phoenix Pack Series. The book is written by Suzanne Wright. She is an English author of romance novels. Spiral of Need is a pretty decent book from the author and so is Feral Sins.
The audio narration of the book is done by Jill Redfield. Her voice quality is good but she seemed to have given every male and female character of the book the same voice.
Frankie Newman was a half-wolf shifter who received an email coming from a family member whom she didn’t know existed. A big secret with that was revealed – Frankie as a child witnessed the killing of her mother by her father… and then himself. Frankie was completely torn from her pack by the human relatives of her mother, and the intense trauma was completely erased from her memory. She never felt more alone after realizing that she had lied all her life. Things changed as soon as she caught the scent of a close, old friend, which was quite intoxicating and warmly familiar.
Trick Hardy was the enforcer of the Phoenix Pack. He could sense the rush of the mutual attraction just when he saw Frankie again. He immediately knew that she was his true mate. But at the same time, given her fragile state, he also knew that he needed to be dealt with immense care, no matter how strong his surging desires were.
When Wild Hunger is compared with the other books in the series then you might find it the weakest of them all so far. The plot was weak. But then the characters were fun and there were some nice sex scenes.
