Melt is a contemporary romance novel. It is the fourth instalment in The Steel Brothers Saga. The book is authored by Helen Hardt. She is the number-one bestselling author in New York Times and USA Today. Burn is a very good novel by the author that promises nonstop entertainment. If you like the first recommended novel written by Helen Hardt then her Blush novel will also make a fascinating experience in the audio format.
Teri Clark Linden and Alexander Cendese have done the narration of this Melt novel. this installment in the series saw a change of narrators, which didn’t work well. Rather, the poor narration ruined this audiobook. John Steel was quite intelligent. He was quite rich and hardworking as well. As the oldest among his siblings, he was charged by his father to protect all of them. In this thing, he miserably failed.
Dr. Melanie Carmichael had her baggage. The renowned therapist was able to help out the brother of Jonah. But at the same time, she was struggling as well with feelings of inadequacy. The time when the oldest Steel walked into her office while seeking solace, he could just turn her back.
Just when Jonah and Melanie tried to work together for solving their issues, ghosts from their past surfaced. At the same time, they were desperately trying hard to completely ignore the desire igniting between them. The danger was lurking quite near.
This book in terms of its writing is good but all comes to an end with a major cliffhanger, and that annoyed the listeners of this book. The other issue with the book is the narration which was quite weak and couldn’t satisfy the listeners.
