Lydia Sus was quite passionate about protecting wolves in their regular, natural habitat. When a hotel chain developed a tract of land right next to the preserve, Lydia came as one of the most active opponents of the project. Soon she became a target of it.
A shadowy figure one night threatened life of Lydia in the forest. Then a recruit at the Wolf Study Project came out of nowhere to protect her. Daniel was found to be mysterious and also someone she wanted to trust intrinsically. But was he hiding something big?
As the stakes got higher and one of their colleagues of Lydia got murdered, she must decide how far she would go to protect the wolves. After that, a shocking revelation about Daniel challenged the reality of Lydia in many ways that she could never have imagined. Some fates ask for courage, while some others require even more, and that too with no guarantees. Would she get her destined love or a soul-shattering loss would ruin her life for good?
There seemed to be some flaws in the plot. The book overall looked quite confusing and disjointed. Even the top performance from Jim Frangione couldn’t save it.
