Both the narrators did a tremendous job and this will make a fantastic listen.
‘Resonance’ was supposed to be a big dream. That was the case when your soulmate got chosen for you, and nothing can beat that feeling. Everybody on the ice planet was hooked up to a hunky, big soulmate of their own. But I was the only exception there. Hell, yeah. More than anything else, all I had ever wanted was to be loved dearly by someone. The only exception was of the soulmate chosen for me, or was it?
Hayden was my least favourite person of mine on the ice planet. He was the most disapproving, cranky, overbearing, and unpleasant male alien. So why my body used to sing whenever he gets closer to me? Why was he working so hard to prove just to me that he was not as awful as I thought he was?
The story of Josie and Haeden is superbly written and developed. You will also love all the horrified expressions of Haeden for which a good bit of credit goes to the narrator. The story of Barbarian’s Mate: A SciFi Alien Romance had unexpectedly deeper and more meaningful thoughts that all the followers would thoroughly enjoy. Not to forget the romance in the book which was outstanding as well with some really pleasant moments.
