War of the worlds is at hand as the Hundred Worlds are constantly being attacked by the Hok. The Hok has not yet succeeded in achieving his goal because the worlds of the humans are well united now. These worlds act as a strong fort now that possesses a single economy and a unified force that stops the invasion successfully every time. None of the enemy’s members has been able to go beyond the strong wall of defense which the humans have created.
But the Hok is also not dissatisfied and it is in no mood of retreating because it has the support of thousand planets on its back. The enemy knows that sooner or later the humans will break and kneel against the power of the Hok. Derek Straker is on the top of the list of soldiers who are defending the home world for decades. All his team mates have been given specially designed suits with the help of which they fight against the enemy.
Derek is the best in the business as he uses his suit in the best possible way. The soldier also proves his skills in Straker’s Breakers as well which happens to be another creation of David VanDyke and B.V. Larson. One thing that the hero is unaware of is the future; he does not know what is coming to him and the rest of the world.
In the later part Mark Boyett’s narration also gets the superb impact of voice which highlights the things further. The Hundred Worlds remain totally unaware of what is coming to them and when it enters their atmosphere they seem to be unprepared.
