The audio narration of this novel is done by J. F. Harding and Laura Hopatcong. It was a solid performance by both. Only a few times, the female narrator sounded to be a bit breathless. But, there were no major issues in the performance.
Jace River was an ex-army specialist. He uses to have a lock on the door of his bedroom. But, that lock was not meant to restrict the entry of anybody. It was all meant to restrict his nightmares from cutting loose. His wolf was the main and an out-of-control sort of killer. It means that he could never risk shifting at all and could never really be a part of the pack. Most he would then never take a mate at all.
Piper Wilding then comes to the scene who had a job with the Army while in the capacity of a civilian. She uses to travel the whole world for the responsibilities related to counterintelligence and had to fight with the bad guys while trying to bed down all of the good ones.
Jace is a wonderful novel. It has a good story with some exciting characters to entertain you.
