Shattered Past is a short chapter that came after the seventh installment of the Dragon Blood novel series. This is a romance and fantasy novel which is written by Lindsay Buroker. The author is known for writing high fantasy, steampunk, science fiction, and adventure novels. If you want to try out something good from the author then go with her Patterns in the Dark novel. Once you are finished with this one then The Blade’s Memory will be another worthy novel to be tried.
The audio narration of this novel is done by Caitlin Davies. It was a terrific job done by the narrator with the performance. Every character sound so good and the accent was quite easy to understand.
An officer from an elite force had a very dreadful reputation. There was also a bookish paleontologist who has immense love for the mysteries. Then there was an old stronghold that had a lot of secrets that would take either of them to be unearthed.
Professor Lilah was looking ahead to spend his summertime within the paleontology lab. His task ahead was to research and then catalog the novice fossils. But, that summer was quite different and it took a very surprising turn. All this happened when the kind deployed her deep into the Ice Blades that led her to a secretive mine. It was exactly the place where the bones of the ancient dragons have been discovered.
Col. Vann There was the one responsible for overseeing all of the hardened criminals who were deployed into the Magroth Crystal Mines situated remotely. He would like to have a certain chance to redeem himself and also to escape from the duty station. But, there was absolutely nothing that was going his way.
A lot of people became a fan of the character of Col. T who wasn’t that popular in the prior chapters of the series. This book re-introduced him with another dimension. The writing was excellent and so was the narration of this novel.
