The novel has greed, hate, and extreme war scenes which people usually don’t like to allow their little children to listen to. So it is a pure adult material in which Alex is planning for his life in a big way. The man has planned for his life before but somehow he hasn’t been able to accomplish peace and leisure in life. Thus this is another attempt to take himself and his friends away from war and bloodshed. The war is still going on and this time Alex has the upper hand because his allies are winning from all sides and these victories have made the country rich.
There is prosperity and peace in all directions so it is the right time to get engaged in romance and romantic thoughts. Spring is approaching the land and it is a clear indication that the armies of the enemies will easily march on the land.
New born children of Alex become his primary concern in such a situation and for this reason, he decides to end his enemies completely, this time. Randi Darren’s Wild Wastes and Wild Wastes: Eastern Expansion provided the much needed fame to the author but this series is equal in status.
Stephanie Savannah has shown full commitment in narration so it is a nice book to have if you are mature enough to handle the theme of love and war on your own. If you are listening to this part directly then you will face some difficulty in understanding the characters and the scenario.
