Life Reset: Conquest is the fifth chapter in the New Era Online saga. It is a science fiction and fantasy novel which is written by Shemer Kuznits. He started first as an avid fan of science fiction novels and RPG games, before turning out to be a writer himself. He has been into writing since 2016 onwards and since then has given a good number of quality novels in the science fiction and LitRPG category. Life Reset: EVP (Environment vs. Player) is a very fascinating novel by the writer. Life Reset: Salvation is another novel from the same series of the author which will also impress you a lot.
The audio narration of the subject book is done by Jeff Hays, Laurie Catherine, Annie Ellicott, and Catherine Winkel. The performance was good but the editing was poor. There was a lot of background noise at times which made things uncomfortable for the listeners.
A prophecy in this book is foretold. That resulted in having thousands of lives right on the line. Things weren’t looking easy at all right from the start.
There was one major enemy town that was right behind them. It was the GreenPeiece clan that marched onward for the new quests. They were up against Oren and many of his monsters. They made the combined forces of the “civilized races”. They intended to inhibit the invasion of their territory.
But, the reality got blurred when Oren fought harder to protect the trapped players along with his clan and the family.
The plot of the book is good and then there is also a plot shift which made the followers a bit worried. But. The author did a great job in maintaining the story quite well till the end. He was able to incorporate a few new elements of science fiction in his writing which made it even more appealing to the listeners.
