Pirateaba has woven four tales to ultimate perfection and knitting this fifth part was not quite tough for the author. The narrator Andrea Parsneau has also done it with minimal ease. Thus the effort of the author and narrator has made it the best thing for the weekend. The King of Destruction is moving forward in this series but the focus in this novel is on Lyonette i.e a female who is basically trying to help others rather than to create problems.
She happens to be an innkeeper of the Wandering Inn. So far she was doing well in life and she was apparently satisfied with it as well. Then she decided to go back to the Inn and on her return, she is informed that she has to share her powers with someone which surely is not an easy thing to do.
The story of the novel makes slow progress in this part but it is good in the sense that it becomes better understood in this way. The selection of dialogues by the author is also great like that seen in Fae and Fare and Winter Solstice. Apparently, the series is not coming to an end but there are several things that appear to be concluding in this fifth part.
There is a nice flow that can be observed at every stage and the quality of the story cannot be ignored at all. Action is there but a lot of suspense is not created by the author perhaps the author wanted to keep everything simple. It is because of that simple approach that the story is equally well written for the kids and the adults.
