Halo is a place that was created by Kelly Gay long ago and more than a decade later every fantasy fan is well aware of this space. It is a place where extraordinary things happen and legends get created and then they vanish into thin air as well. Scott Brick has narrated the twenty first part of the series which gives the hint to the listener that the series has come a long way in time.
There was a time when this part of the galaxy was terrorized by the Great War. The war seems to be over now and there are scraps of old warships that can be seen gliding here and there in space. Some people are able to find something of importance in this scrap that is floating in space while others take it as a waste of time.
For people like Rion, it is an opportunity to earn some extra money with which she can move on with her research work. Since the day when Rion started her business, she has been concerned about her lost father. There is no evidence that the old man is alive or not but Rion wants to know what actually happened to him. She has been able to find many clues linked to her father but all of those clues were fake or they led to dead ends.
This time there is hope like Halo: Point of Light and HALO: Renegades that she would be able to reach something worthwhile. If she fails now then she would be left heartbroken and perhaps she would never be the same in her life again.
