A complete trilogy is the best option if someone does not want to go looking for the next part of the series again and again. M.R. Forbes took proper time to create this trilogy and the development of the scenes along with the language used in the series is of good quality. Jonathan Davis narrates the character of Sheriff Hayden Duke who has lived a simple life on a ship that is automated so all he has to do is to wait for the end of his life.
Till then he can spend a peaceful life with his wife on the ship. One day, the unthinkable happens when Duke’s wife makes contact with him from another part of the ship and tells him that she has found a body that is not like the people present on the ship. When Duke reaches that part of the ship, he finds out that his wife has disappeared and there is nobody either.
At first, he fails to believe what has happened, and then he finds out a handprint that tells the complete tale. Quickly friends turn into enemies and Duke thinks that his time to die has approached. This time he is not following the pattern because he wants his wife back. Thus the story takes a twist like Stars End: The Complete Series Box Set and The Sheriff.
Duke stands against the evil forces first for the sake of his wife and then for the sake of all the people who are present on the ship. He must take the battle to the enemy or whatever his father and grandfather had worked for will get perished in front of him.
