James Patrick Cronin is a wonderful narrator, he brings the story to life because it gets narrated in such a lively way. His narrative works are always extraordinary and he has never done injustice to any character in the story. The writer of this story is Mark Wayne McGinnis who has previously written Starship Oblivion: Sanctuary Outpost and USS Jefferson: Charge of the Symbios.
The story is an intergalactic adventure in which one man stands strong against the enemies who are trying to erase humanity from the face of the world. Captain Galvin was given a task to free the Ironhold Station from the grip of the enemy. The captain along with his crew marched forward and threw the evil pirates out of the station within no time. It was a superb mission and later they were returning to the home planet when Grish attacked their ship.
The Grish was actually waiting for them and they gave a deadly blow to the ship. Galvin and his crew members were injured severely and it was due to this attack that Galvin had to spend a long time in the military hospital. Slowly he recovered and when he was able to walk on his feet once again, he heard the bad news.
A new enemy has emerged and it has joined its forces with Grish to eradicate the humans from the face of the world. The humans are in trouble and they have been isolated from all sides. With no allies, the human race has its eyes set on the man that has saved it from the enemies on many occasions i.e Captain Galvin.
