Arak’s Love is the second installment in A World Beyond novel series. This romance fantasy novel is written by Michelle Howard. She is the bestselling American author. She writes science fiction, paranormal romance, and contemporary romance books. If you talk about the best books by Michelle Howard then you will easily find Torkel’s Chosen and Kyele’s Passion. The audio narration of this book is done by Michael Pauley and Samia Moon. The dual narration turned out to be quite good. There were sound effects added as well which made the audiobook experience very lively.
Arak O’tir was a Half-Argoran shifter who was aware that good people do exist. He was also the one who worked with a few of them. But in the capacity of a deadly Jutak warrior, his work usually took him to the much lesser savory elements that belonged to the society. He also shielded his heart entirely from all the ones whom he had rescued. That was the case until one specific mission left him longing for a particular female. Someone who made him tremble even if she was not from his world.
Sylvia Forrester by no means expected that her search for having a husband would take him into danger. She could never have even foreseen that her quest would discover her captured by the aliens and then added to a list of some latent sex slaves who were to be sold ahead for a huge profit.
There are too many characters in this book and at times you will find it hard to keep track of. Nonetheless, they were all lovely and it will be worth the credit. The narration made this audiobook even more exciting.
