Jordan knew one thing for certain and that was the information transferred to her by her sister about the character of men. She was told that there were no good men in this world and whenever a man comes closer to a female then it means that he is more concerned about physical pleasures and that’s all. So no woman can feel safe when she is close to a man and if a man is not advancing towards a woman then it would surely mean that he is not available at all.
In the case of Pike, this was not a thing which could be passed on to his character because the man was quite decent in his behaviour and he tried to keep Jordan safe and well-protected on all occasions. Jordan started developing feelings for Pike right from the moment she entered his house and she thought that she would not be able to keep control of herself for a long time.
There was one problem i.e Jordan was engaged to his son and he too was living in the same house. Pike allowed Jordan to come into his house because she needed shelter and he needed someone who could handle the kitchen work. The girl happens to be nineteen years of age and the man is almost thirty eight which means that they have apparently no chance of getting along in the future.
Penelope Douglas wrote Kill Switch and Punk 57 in a serious tone and this one is serious too but it has the developing love which captures the attention of a person very quickly. Andrew Eiden and Jennifer Mack have presented the characters very well and their feelings are really scintillating.
