This is not a book rather it is a collection of twelve stories written by J.S. Morin and M.A. Larkin. The first story about the space station on the edge of the galaxy is a bit long and the rest are short stories with separate scenarios and characters that are not very time consuming. Mikael Naramore starts from the first one in which Cedric is portrayed as an average man. Originally Cedric is not an average man at all rather he is a well accomplished wizard of the first rank.
It was he who once tried to destroy the space station and now he is secretly hiding at the same place. No one knows about the true identity of the man and life has been going quite well for him. The space station becomes the center of the action when it detects a planet with no life. Apparently, the planet had no life on it but there were traces that an alien species used to govern the place in the past.
Mikael Naramore narrates the secrets of the planet very neatly at this point in the story. The narrator does not try to bring a lot of changes on his own in the first story. Later the rest of the stories resemble Viva, Las Vega IX and Ventura Starway in their themes.
The places of action are always different and it is amazing to notice that the author has been able to paint new sceneries on every occasion and in every story. Surely such things need a lot of creativity and drain a lot of energy of the author on all levels.
