Reagen the bounty hunter is not like that one can find on the dark corners of the streets rather she is the special type. She hunts supernatural creatures after which she gets heavily paid. That has been her life since the beginning and she thinks that she is becoming more and more skilled in her work after every assignment. Her magic is also ample to support her in the fight against supernatural creatures.
One mission, however, falls back on her and she loses her mark which means there would be no payment afterward. Having nothing else to do the girl starts working for the same old vampire that brought destruction on her. Surely a bad choice was made by Reagen but she had no other option in mind. Vampires are known for their cunning and deceptive nature and no one knows it better than Reagen who has lost to the vampire once.
The old vampire takes her to the depths of terror where she confronts an even bigger evil which she never knew anything about. K.F. Breene’s work gets the decoration of Nicole Poole’s experienced voice for this trademark piece of art. Magical Midlife Meeting and Magical Midlife Love will help to understand the new concepts further.
The novel has a serious job because of which there is very little space for soft scenes with love in it. At different times there are some occasions which bring smiles on our faces but that is not permanent. Some light talk is soon replaced by serious work in the middle of every chapter. Listening to the complete series is the only way that will bring ease to the mind of the listeners.
