Bulletproof Damsel is the opening chapter of the Urban Fantasy Romance series. It is written by Amelia Hutchins. She is a bestselling author in WSJ and USA Today of multiple novels and series. Among her most prominent novels, you will find Ashes of Chaos as one of them. Moreover, Crown of Ashes is another brilliant book that the author has written.
The audio narration of Bulletproof Damsel’s novel is done by Tessa Compton. The performance was lacking quality big time and it turned into an annoying experience for the listeners with a monotonous tone and pronunciation issues.
There was a sassy female weapons master who was known to get out much. There was also an alpha-hole who had his claim on her, right at the moment he saw her for the very first time. She was more of a weapon in the hands of her enemies and it was Rhys who had all the intentions of using her.
There was an ancient family feud between the Silversmith’s and Van Helsing’s. So who was there who could go wrong there? When Remington came up against Rhys Van Helsing then the entire world would never be the same again.
In the case of Remington Silversmith? It was everything. Bulletproof Damsel offered a great start to the series as far as the story is concerned. The narration was substandard which failed to add depth to the characters. This is a book worth re-recording with a better narrator who could add more infliction and depth to the characters. Regardless of that, many of the listeners of this book will pick the second in the series as well, as the story is way too tempting to be ignored. The book due to the nature of its content is suitable only for the adult audience.
