Janet Evanovich has written many solo novels and the author has experimented with combos too. It is good to notice that all of the novels have remained successful because the author remains careful in painting the basic things in a story. Phoef Sutton is the second author who has helped in the creation of this book. The two have not come up short in the creation of a wonderful thriller that tells the tale of love, lust, and greed.
Emerson Knight is the dominant male character in the story and he is not the one who is talkative in nature. Getting into meetings and parties is something that he does not like because he wants to stay alone in his own peaceful place.
There are no worries about the funds because his father has given him a huge business to carry on in his life with all the luxuries intact. Riley Moon is the exact opposite in the sense that she wants to prove herself to the world and for this, she has worked hard in her educational career. Now after completing her studies, she wants to do the same thing in her professional career too.
When she got her first job, she thought that working for the big company would be so much fun but in reality, she was hired to take care of all the money-related issues for Emerson. Unlike One for the Money this is not the opposite attracts kind of situation rather Riley thinks that the job is a sheer waste of time. Then she finds out that money is vanishing from different accounts without any reason and she thinks that it is her duty to keep an eye on the matter. Soon Riley and Emerson find out something dark which has been going on right under their noses for a long time and from this point they start working together. Going Rogue is also completely different from this story, still, all of these stories provide lovely energy.
