Christa Lewis has a firm grip on every story which the narrator narrates and surely this strength of the narrator has made her able to make a good name in the field. Lilly has been haunted by Fate all the time and she would have lost her life many times if Will had not been there to save her on every occasion. Will has been like the knight she always needed like a fairy tale princess.
Although Fate tried many times Lily survived and this brought her closer to Will even more. Then one day she kissed that knight who was her guardian angel and after that kiss, Will just left her forever for no reason and she hasn’t seen him since then. Now in her college, Lilly encounters Brand Cole who is ready to embrace her just like Will.
Although in her heart she still has a place for Will she thinks that Cole is not a bad option at all. There is one issue which Cole and Will have not told Lilly and she is in for a big surprise. This time she thinks that Fate is after her again but this assassin who is after she is a real human being.
S.J. West has continued producing different parts of the series like Timeless and there is no fan who can say that he didn’t like Devoted. These love tales just touch the heart directly and they make a place in our hearts and soul. The way the two lovers start to get to know each other is engaging as always. Christa Lewis keeps control of the narration and then the pace is given when the climax of the story approaches.
