Daimon is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is a prequel to the Half-Blood. The book is written by Jenifer L. Armentrout. She is an American author of new adult, contemporary romance, and fantasy novels. A good number of her books were made to the bestseller list of the New York Times where one of them is The War of Two Queens. Her writing has been quite phenomenal in Onyx novel as well.
Daimon is narrated by Justin Eyre. There was a slight gasping whine in the voice of the narrator which was a bit of a concern in the performance. Other than that, it was a really good performance.
Alexandra for more than three months has lived right among the mortals while pretending to be just like them. She was also trying to completely forget the task that she had been trained for fulfilling as a mortal and demigod’s child.
As per her mother, that was a good thing to have.
Fate is something that is known for having some sort of way of earing her dreadful head. A terrible attack took place which pushed Alex to the point that she had to flee Miami. She was looking to find her way back to that particular place where her mother told her father to warn her that she must never return at all. It was the Covenant. Remember that every step that brought her towards safety was a step towards death.
The book is nice but not among the best novels of Armentrout. You will still have a pretty decent and enjoyable time with its characters and story. You wouldn’t regret your decision if you go with this book.
