The word “Devil” in the title provides a naughty feeling which can bring more audience towards this book. Immortal Unchained claimed many hearts and the loves scenes are splendid here as well. Eveline was really tired of the behaviour of her stepmother and she wanted to get rid of that situation in one way or the other.
She was waiting for an opportunity that could take her away from all kinds of worries as quickly as possible. Then the wedding proposal from Cullen opened a new door in her life. She was sure that her situation will get better after marriage even though her future husband was a really strict ruler who only wanted a wife because he needed sons. Cullen didn’t care about the beauty of any woman and all he was worried about was the safety of his clan.
Being a ruler it was his duty to keep an eye on every trouble which arouses in the land. He thought that nothing could change him from the inside and then a single night with his wife provided him with the taste of real love. Culler finally realized that there was something more to life than the strict rule that he was keeping.
Lynsay Sands’ The Chase brought a lot of energy to the spectacle as the story is full of clever stuff from both sides. This on the other hand is a straightforward story narrated by Marianna Palka. The story has love as the heart of a warrior finally melts for the love of his life. Culler was ready for everything in his life and now he knows that he wasn’t ready for such a ravishing beauty.
