Gunnar’s life has not been easy after entering the virtual world known as Eden’s Gate but this is one life that he is enjoying and he is ready to pay any sort of price for it. Real-world was boring where he used to live in his studio apartment and had a 9 to 5 dull job. Here he is a warrior and we noticed how emotional he became when the government decided to shut Eden’s Gate down during Eden’s Gate: The Reborn. We have come to the third part in which Edward Brody takes us to the next level. Gunnar used to live in an isolated way when he was in the real world but here is with his friends whom he calls his family now.
He is much satisfied and protected in the company of this guild. Also, a few lovely moments with the princess are more than enough for this once upon a time loner. In the first part and also in Eden’s Gate: The Sparrow we have seen Gunnar thinking about Rachel but here he thinks that perhaps he would not be able to see her again.
Thus the story also has a dark or dejected side too which Pavi Proczko narrates. The hero is a little broken from the inside but the happiness and love of friends that are present around him are keeping him alive. Action and fight scenes come later in the novel and the listeners have to wait for that part for some time.
Also when that action part comes it does not continue throughout, there are breaks in the fight scenes throughout which allow the audience and the characters to rest.
