Emma Audiobook
This is the classic which Jane Austen produced long ago and even today no one can say that the story has become an outdated one. The book develops a picture which is complete and accurate. The characters had been the strength of Jane Austen on every occasion and Emma’s character is among the finest of all.
Emma is a young girl who belongs to a wealthy family. She thinks that she is a perfect matchmaker which she is actually not. Every now and then she experiments with her thoughts and tries to create perfect couples according to her own thoughts. Miss Taylor is the first one whom Emma promises to provide a perfect match. Then there are characters like Harriet who play a role in the novel. Throughout the novel it is all about Emma which we hear about and the male characters don’t play a dominating role at all. Mr Elton had affection for Emma right from the beginning but he was a bit hesitant to show his love. Then on one occasion, Elton opens his heart in front of Emma and he gets too much disappointed when Emma rejects his proposal because she thinks that he is not the perfect match for her. Knightley is the one in whom Emma shows some interest later on but he starts ignoring her completely. In the meantime Elton gets married and finds for himself a perfect wife. Soon Emma thinks that she has gone out of resources in her own life. Narrated by Emma Thompson, Joseph Millson and Morgana Robinson, this book is not like fictional stories Meet Claudie and The Mothers. Here the characters are more real and they belong exactly to their era in their appearance and nature.
