World of dreams becomes a reality in Kristen Ashley’s latest novel in which Cora Goode is transported to another world. In this world of fairies, Cora has been blessed with certain powers too. The girl can understand the speech of the birds too which is a unique thing for her. On landing, in this new world the girl is fascinated but she cannot understand her purpose in coming to that place. For the first half she gets the hint that she is actually in her dream and can wake up at any instant.
When the dream is prolonged she gets terrorized and understands what has happened to her. Cora gets shifted to the parallel dimension where her twin is not present in her place so the people of this world think that Cora is the one they were looking for. The lover boy Tor also thinks the same and starts protecting Cora loyally from the evil which is ready to pounce on her.
An ancient curse has landed on the land and it can change the entire face of the fairy land within no time. Cora can stop everything but she is worried about her own life and her constantly increasing love for Tor. Tillie Hooper’s voice don’t let us get confused about the male and female characters because the narrator has this special talent of keeping the two genders separate.
Dream Spinner and Sebring were mysterious from the start and this takes a little time before things get creepy for the listeners. This is how things go in Kristen’s masterpieces, the author does not scare us at once but later the situations get really horrifying.
