Fireborne is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the first chapter in Raven Cursed’s novel series which is written by McKenzie Hunter. She writes both fiction and nonfiction books. However, she got a lot of appreciation for her science fiction and fantasy work. A Touch of Brimstone is her most loved book. The same could also be said about her Moon Tortured book.
The audio narration of the book is done by Khristine Hvam. She is a very talented narrator of audiobooks and you will love her performance in this particular chapter as well.
I just wouldn’t say by any means that my life has been full of the dump. But still, it was far away from being typical. I was frenemies with the local Alpha werewolves there. All of my clients there were extremely shady and my magic was well within the firm grip of the WTF category. My most powerful and mysterious client was Mephisto. He was thought to be a lot more interested in learning my magic than in the job he had hired me for. I was pretty sure that my therapist through the court order thinks that I am an ass.
It might not be a dumpster fire but it was a hot mess. Having said that, I was good at doing my job. If a magical object is lost or a curse happens there, I am the one to be called. The first impression of this book is its premise which you will find to be super intriguing. The characters will be mysterious and sexy as hell. Then it comes to the pacing of this book which was also nice.
