Glass World Audiobook
Long ago the aliens started coming to the human world and many thought that it would start a galactic war between the humans and the alien world. No such thing happened and the human government put an end to all these controversial things. The humans and the aliens joined hands and this alliance allowed the humans to spread their wings in the entire galaxy. The aliens had their colonies well spread to the Milk Way and they allowed the humans to also establish colonies on various planets.
All of this is a matter of the past now and currently, humans have to deal with Rigel. Rigel happens to be a strong race and defeating it in war is impossible because the armors which their soldiers use are unbreakable. B.V. Larson in this part presents a new hero in the shape of James McGill who is selected by the human world to spy on Rigel.
The plan is simple i.e spy on the aliens and tries to find the planet which has a crystalline material with the help of which the Rigel form their armors. James went far in the galaxy and during his mission, he finally gets afraid when he comes so close to death. The narrow escapes of the hero remind us of Steel World and Fire Fight in which the main character also suffered in a big way.
Finding and reaching the strange planet was not easy of course and then getting back home in one piece was even more difficult. Mark Boyett has done it again in the narrator’s job and this is one thing that has remained perfect in this series.
