Glory in Death Audiobook
This is the second book of a long series and this makes it the right choice because it has a certain amount of introduction which might come in handy afterward. Such stories basically do not need a lot of introduction about the characters but it would be better to have some details about Eve Dallas as it would come in handy later on. The leading character in Indulgence in Death and Secrets in Death gets a deadly case in her hands.
She wasn’t expecting that she would have to add her lover Roarke to the list of suspects in her career. When the dead bodies of two wealthy women are found in the city, Roarke also becomes the suspect because the two ladies had connections with a lot of rich men in the town.
One of the women was killed on the sidewalk while the other was found in her room. The killer had a motive behind the killing but it wasn’t apparent so Eve had to look into the personal life of all the bad boys of the town including Roarke. In her heart, she knows that Roarke is not that kind of a person but she must look into each and every detail in order to get to the real killer.
J.D. Robb has a mind blowing experience in these kinds of stories and the regular listeners will surely feel that the author just keeps on getting better in every episode that he paints. Eve’s character is a fully developed one and no change comes in her personality, she just gets emotional at times while as a routine she is the most rational person in the story.
