Get in touch with another girl who is famous and strange at the same time. All the people in society know her very well but they are not aware of the powers which she has in her possessions. It is these powers that make her feel that she is strange and she hasn’t been able to form any kind of serious relationship because of this.
Now she thinks she must start thinking about herself too because her personal life is equally important. Although Ripley Todd has done excellent work as the deputy sheriff of the town there have been things that she hasn’t been able to control and she is worried about those things. Her past connection to the family of witches has started haunting her and she cannot run away from that fate.
Whenever she gets angry or dad something strange starts happening which is difficult to comprehend. Author Nora Roberts brings a male character in the middle of the story in the form of MacAllister Booke. The man has come to the land as a researcher and he wants to investigate the magic which is still hidden in the land. After seeing Ripley, he gets the feeling that she happens to be a special character in the town.
Though Ripley tries to hide her powers it is difficult to hide when the man in front of her already knows a lot. Sandra Burr’s narration can make any story look charming and this one was already glittering to a large extent. Identity and Year One have different stories and it is wonderful to listen to stories with great morals and the charm of love.
