Two people with opposite habits and personalities can stay together for a night or perhaps a little more but such people cannot forge a permanent bond of love. The girl in the novel knows all of it in advance and she is aware that she will never get a good bachelor for her future life because she doesn’t possess the courage to talk to handsome men. Whenever she is in the company of men, she gets nervous so she lands on singles tables all the time.
Rene Givens and Rob Howard narrate the story as the girl takes a brave decision this time. Instead of waiting at the singles table, she hires Theo MacLeod who could act as her fake date so that she can attend the party in a better way. The thing went well because Theo was a trained guy in such activities but the two kissed at the end and this heated up things between them.
The night was awesome for both of them and the relationship bloomed out of nowhere. The only difference is that Theo likes these one night stands while the girl was looking for a permanent relationship. Melanie Harlow is quite good at presenting opposite characters. The author has proved this in Tempt and Tease.
Here once again we get the chance to meet two characters who have nothing in common but they have an appeal that neither of them can resist. Now they have to decide whether they should go on with the relationship or leave it when they still can. If they leave their relationship aside then they would never be the same from the inside.
