James Barr i.e the military sniper who served the department for a long time get caught when five people get shot in the middle of the city. The shooter shot six bullets and five of those bullets hit the target. The police caught the killer within no time because he was the only one skilled enough to fire a sniper like that.
The police thought that they had solved the case and there is no need for any kind of investigation but there is a little problem i.e the one who is caught claimed that he hasn’t done anything. The police think that the man is telling a lie and he is just trying to misguide the department. When no one listens to Barr he utters the name Jack Reacher because he believes that Jack is the only one who can help him.
Jack has no telephonic connection with anyone but he still has enough connectivity that he listens to whoever utters his name. Thus Jack Reacher comes to the place and starts looking into the matter. He thinks that the investigation is not done properly and there are certain loopholes in the case. Lee Child adds a woman in the form of an attorney who is ready to help Jack because she too thinks that the police have caught the wrong guy.
Dick Hill’s voice was audible in No Plan B and Night School so the narration was not a new job for him. The audience can listen to the narration with great leisure and ease because the narrator does not show any kind of quickness anywhere. One can easily understand every word and the purpose of that word as well.
