Love, Lies, and Hocus Pocus Betrayal is the fifth chapter in The Lily Singer Adventures. It is a suspenseful mystery thriller and the book is written by Lydia Sherrer. The audio narration of the subject novel is done by Amy McFadden. It was quite well narrated by Amy and you will be well covered in this book as far as the narration is concerned. Could you ever betray your close friends for saving them?
It has been quite a few months since the harrowing adventure of Lily Singer in England. Still, there had been no update about Morgan le Fay or her father. Lily was far from being relaxed and was kept busy doing the very last thing in the world that she could ever imagine. It was to date Sebastian Blackwell. It was all about the insanity that was known for running in her family.
Things started to get bothersome, interesting, and inconvenient when Richard Grant, the FBI agent and former beau seek help in the investigation of a series of murders. Lily would rather look to cleanse the mold-ridden car of Sebastian than open that can of worms. She might not be having any choice in the matter. Rumors were going all through the magical underworld. The rumor was about the creatures that would pit friends all against the ally and resuscitate the shadows from the past.
A good part of this book is the inner turmoil that leads to anxiety. There will also be romantic tension and then some good humor as well. Overall, this book may depress you in some parts with its story, and in other parts, you will lie about it for its lighter content.
