Macrieve: Immortals After Dark Audiobook
MacRieve is Kresley Cole’s finest character who is seen fighting from his inner demon which is slowly getting over his mind. Mac was a hero once and he used to fight epic battles against his enemies until he lost one and got captured in the process. The prison in which he was sent or thrown was not ordinary at all because in the prison the prisoners were used for experimentation.
After those experiments the prisoners never remained the same mentally and physically. Mac thought that life was over for him in that prison until the prison break showed him the way out. Outside world was not the same anymore and there was the rising of the moon that started teasing him now. Forcefully the wolf hidden in him wants a way out but there is a girl who pacifies that demon and allows him to control his animal instinct.
Still the hunger surpasses A Hunger Like No Other: Immortals After Dark, Book 2 and Wicked Deeds on a Winter’s Night: Immortals After Dark, Book 4. Mac does not want to lose the girl whom he has started loving so much. It is because of that girl he starts loving life once again.
Through Robert Petkoff’s narration we get the picture of the man who is half demon now. He tries to control his demon shape and tries to be human again but there is a part in him that tells him that he is slowly losing the battle. Losing the battle will also result in losing the girl too which is impossible for Mac at this time because he is so madly engaged.
