Many women want men to look after them and they love it when men come after them with a marriage proposal. For poor Alexandra Scott, life has not been that easy by any means because she is living in Alaska and here men are not easy to find at all. Men have gone extinct in this part of the world and there is one for every four women according to the ratio.
Alexandra is still committed and she believes that she would be able to find the right man for herself. Then Michael Casey comes to the place and Alexandra thinks that her prayers have been heard by the heavens. The man happens to be a bachelor and he is not in any kind of relationship.
Now all Alexandra has to do is to keep an eye on him so that other women of the town don’t get to him first. Michael also thinks of Alexandra as an attractive woman and he thinks that the time has come to start a love life of his own. Janet Evanovich does not introduce a villain in the story but doesn’t think that there would be no villain in the story after all.
The twists will come for everyone and C.J. Critt will keep you alert through the help of the wonderful narration. Two for the Dough and Going Rogue are also not hard to find so get at least two to three books which the author has written as only then you will be able to understand the style of the writer along with the motives. This is not for the children because the urgency for a relationship can only be felt by a person who has gone through such circumstances in life.
