Matefinder: Volume 1 is a science fiction and fantasy novel. The book is the opening title of the Matefinder novel series. It is written by Leia Stone. She is the bestselling writer in USA Today of multiple series, which also include Fallen Academy. She has also worked as a scriptwriter. More than two million copies of her books have been sold worldwide so far. Her books have been translated into four different languages. The Matefinder novel series of the author has been optioned for a film as well. Shadow Angel: Book One and The Dark Soul are two of her very good novels.
The audio narration of the book is done by Dara Rosenberg. She is an experienced narrator with more than 300 books performed already. She somehow didn’t do well with her inflections as most of the characters sounded the same.
The werewolves were up against the great threat which was about extinction. They were desperately looking for their mates to bear Aurora. She was a human who was far away from the mighty supernatural world. She was coming close to her end after she got brutally injured in a terrible car accident. Kai was an alpha werewolf who watched her bleeding out in the trees nearby. He chose to save her the only good way he knew about, and that was by changing her. Aurora struggled a lot with her past as being a domestic survivor of abuse and having a highly violent lifestyle of a werewolf.
The book comes with a very exciting plotline and strong characters. You can never ask for any better opening to a new series.
