Ready Player Two is a work of science fiction and fantasy. It is the second book in the Ready Player One novel series. The book is beautifully authored by Ernest Cline. He is an author of science fiction novels, a slam poet, and a screenwriter. Ready Player One is his best book which was also adapted into a movie of the same name. Armada is another sensational title that Ernest Cline has written.
Wil Wheaton did the narration of this Ready Player Two novel. It was an acceptable performance. A few issues were there only with the pronunciation of a few words, the rest was all good.
A few days after winning the contest of James Halliday, the OASIS founder, Wade made a discovery that changed almost everything.
Hidden right behind the vaults of James Halliday, there was a huge technological advancement lying which would change the entire world once again. It would make the OASIS exponential times more addictive and wondrous than what even Wade dreamed to be possible.
A new riddle also came with that along with a new quest. It was the very last Easter egg coming from James Halliday which was hinting big time at a highly mysterious prize. Moreover, there was also a dangerous, powerful, and unexpected new rival awaiting as well.
Ready Player One set the bar high and most people picked this book having that first installment of the series as the benchmark. Considering that perspective the listeners were slightly disappointed as the book was not as good as the first one. But if you consider Ready Player Two individually and with no comparisons then you will find it a good read.
