Journalists are always looking for new stories as these stories keep them on top all the time. The same is the case with Kerra Bailey who is trying to rise high through her TV show. As she investigates certain cases with the potential to bring sensation to television she comes to know that the story of Major Trapper is the perfect one for her show. Major Trapper saved people during the bombing of the Pegasus Hotel and he became an instant celebrity after that.
For a long time, he remained on the headline, and then something happened because of which the man completely hid from the media. Kerra wants to take his interview and in order to reach Major Trapper she has decided to use his son John Trapper as a bridge. John was an ATF agent once and now he too is living a retired life. The father and son don’t meet each other and no one knows the reason behind the thing either.
Sandra Brown has painted Kerra as an aggressive character in the novel. She decides to persuade John and this effort brings her into a vicious circle. Soon John and Kerra think that they can actually catch the one who was behind the bombing of the Pegasus Hotel, however, it is not easy because there is a chance that the bomber reach them first.
Overkill had a lot of violent scenes in it so it was obvious that this book will also deliver the same result in the voice of Victor Slezak. There is another book with the name Texas! Chase can fall on the list but going through all of these books at the same time will mix certain scenes in your mind.
