Silver Borne is the fifth installment in Mercy Thompson series. Those who are fans of science fiction would find it quite enticing. It is written with great passion by Patricia Briggs. She is writing beautifully since 1993 and had the subject series as her most renowned work. You would love a few more novels from the author. The recommended books written by Patricia are: Smoke Bitten and Wild Sign.
Lorelei King is a fantastic voice artist. She has proved her worth yet again in this novel. The best thing about her is that she managed to add more depth to the story with her performance.
Mercy Thompson, who is a shapeshifter and a mechanic tried to return back the resourceful Fae book. She borrowed that book in an instant moment of depression. But, she discovered that the bookshop if closed and locked. It was most definitely the case that there were some critical secrets inside the book. It is expected of Fae to do anything in order to protect it from the wrong hands. If that doesn’t managed to have the attention of Mercy drawn, then Samuel, her friend is here. He is besieged with his wolf side. That puts more pressure on Mercy to cover up for him as well. On the other side, the father of Sam declared his life forfeit.
If you are not a fan of longer novels with slow pace and content with filler, then this Silver Borne is exactly the opposite. You will love it for its average length and action packed sequences. It will not bore you and whatever it is asking you to guess, you would be getting the responses in quick time.
