It was all about football for Blake when the author Rosalind James begins the story in the opening scenes after describing the setting. The man thinks that he is made for football and of course, the women also come along with that kind of fame. However, the career does not last for a long time so Blake decides to concentrate on his business linked to the Wild Horse Resort.
Also, the man starts thinking that he should get settled in his personal life as well along with professional one. A marriage could solve the issue but finding the right kind of girl is an issue which should be solved first. Then in this small town, Blake sees Dakota for the first time and he thinks that his heart has suddenly started pounding a bit faster. Dakota is a really down and out woman who wants to start a new life in this small town.
Tanya Eby’s narration conveys the message that how sad Dakota really is from the inside. Her family is in a terrible state and she has been called trash previously because of which she came to this new town. Currently, Dakota starts running the painting business which was previously owned by her father and she has no plans for marriage.
Carry Me Home and Just Stop Me gathered pace very slowly while in this novel the fire gets ignited during the first meeting. Both characters think that they are not accurate for one another but resisting the temptation was not in their hands. Finally they now down at that temptation and decide to act like one for the rest of their lives.
