Lucern Aregeneau became famous right from the day when his first novel was published by the Roundhouse publishers. The novel was about vampires and everything in it was so much engaging that people got mesmerized by it. Depiction of lust and the deadly fans of the vampires all looked real and the selection of words was completely phenomenal. As an editor of the company, Kate thought that it would be better for Luc to give a public appearance finally. People wanted to see their beloved author and also he was needed for the award as well.
When the company tried to establish contact with the man he didn’t look very much interested in all that fame which the publishers had to offer. Luc liked to live behind the shadows and he disliked the sparkle of the light. Also, his sleeping habits were just out of this world, whenever Kate tried to contact him in the morning he was found sleeping. This made Kate frustrated and that tension can be felt from the voice of the narrator Jeffrey Cummings.
As the editor inspected more she was shocked that the stories which her main writer was producing were all true. Lynsay Sands first tells us that the female character in the novel gets all the details about the vampire and even then she is tempted to visit him at his house.
Perhaps the book is different in the sense that Meant to Be Immortal and Mile High with a Vampire was less direct. Here the audience at first gets the opinion that Luc is just an author who writes strongly about the vampire world. Then we are told that he is writing about the world in which he was living from the beginning of time.
